Hmmm, http://jsfiddle.net/gn3px/2/ works, but not using the Core and More Builders' versions. Lemme investigate further.

I just updated to MooTools 1.3.1 and it seems to work fine... 585da70

Hi, I just re-tested and there's still a problem with input date format parsing for setting the date picker's value (date).
- Run /Test/index.html
- Click on DatePicker 1.6 Tests
- Click inside "Datepicker with jQuery UI skin" input field
- Select a date in the picker. The date is set in the input according to date format, no problem.
- Click (again) inside "Datepicker with jQuery UI skin" input field.
Now, when the picker pops up, the input date format cannot be parsed, it becomes set to epoch / 1 Jan 1970.
