I don't include the package at all.. arweave-js does as a dependency. It seems to be including an older version...

I don't have the problem personally, it was reported by a user on the arweave dev discord and I investigated. They also worked around the issue eventually. My thinking was that it might be nice to improve the developer experience. Perhaps by making a PR to arweave-js?

I agree developer experience is important. However because this is not an ArConnect issue, it might be better to open an issue in the arweave-js repo instead
