community_detection

This is a social network project wherein I have used the Facebook 'Likes' data to study a social network community. Implemented Girvan Newman algorithm for dividing the community to different clusters.

community_trends

All the datasets in this project have information related to a particular domain. For example the garbage dataset contains information related to the garbage requests. I have segregated each of the datasets into different communities and compared the coreelations. For example, the correlation between the Grocery store dataset and the garbage request dataset correlate well which implies that the area wehre there are large number of gorcery stores there are more number of garbage requests which is intuitive.

This project is related to an implementation of entity tagging which includes Noun Phrase Chunking/ Chinking.

The code involves a data scrubbing part wherein I had to scrub the JSON files and parse the hotel names, cities and countries where they were located. After this I summarized the dataset on various factors to get insights.
