@akshayvijayjain in both cases the expected behaviour should be that the popup scrolls below the fold as the user scrolls the page and should not stick to the page.

hello @Nikhil-Nandagopal , @somangshu , @pranavkanade I would like to work on the issue

Hello @Nikhil-Nandagopal,
I've noticed some behavior in the Table widget and DatePickerWidget that I'd like to clarify. When the filter popup is opened and the user scrolls up or down, the filter remains fixed at the bottom of the page. Additionally, clicking on the page causes the popup to close. This behavior appears to be by design and not a bug.
However, while exploring the RichTextEditor widget, I encountered an issue with the paragraph dropdown. Unlike the other widgets, this dropdown seems to float randomly on the page instead of sticking to the bottom when scrolling. This inconsistency suggests that there might be a bug.
I've recorded a video demonstrating this behavior in the RichTextEditor widget for your reference: Video: Showing the bug.
I look forward to your feedback on this matter.
Thank you very much!

@Harshithazemoso ideally in both cases the popup simply scrolls below the fold with the page. This may be due to how the rich text editor is implemented since it's a separate library.

@Nikhil-Nandagopal you are saying that there is no bug in any of the widgets,am I right ?
from appsmith.
we are talking about two things
- table filter popup ==> sticks to bottom of page ==>bug raise ==> But if you click outside the popup will go away
so bug author does not want to see the popup,
solution:
this can be made configurable in the popup, whether to stick to screen or scroll down.
@Nikhil-Nandagopal your thoughts on this
- rich text editor , font popup, this stays on the page as if position: fixed, this may be a bug,
as this is separate widget, ideally can raise a new bug
solution:
can check what needs to be done to make it scroll with the page.
@Nikhil-Nandagopal your thoughts?
