Seems to be a Chromium bug actually. Let's watch https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=598454
If the bug persists, then we could try setting $LINUX_SANDBOX_PATH.

Because otherwise Chromium needs a suid helper, and FUSE doesn't allow for suid binaries. According to man fuse, filesystems are mounted with nodev,nosuid by default, which can only be overridden by a privileged user, meaning you would need to be root.
