Should be
$this->errors = $this->prepareError($errors);

?

Hey there.. Actually, i think, that this is just some leftover from refactoring..

I just changed the line from

$error = $this->prepareError($errors);

to

$this->errors = $this->prepareError($errors);

all the same.. so i think, its ok for now 😂

additional details:
The return value from $this->prepareError() was always an "empty" MessageBag for me, when I threw some Exceptions in my application..

Just created a PR for this doing same as @johannesschobel

I am not sure but you have to implement the responseData method for each exception that you want to have the errors array calling the $exception->getErrors()
