Did you try to execute a compaction

@13535048320: How do you populate the data? Is it a requirement to update the previous records based on the incoming new data, or every record is new? If you have delete files generated by upsert, you can use compaction to remove them as suggested by @coolderli. Having plenty of delete files could be very decremental on performance.
