@frankrue, this seems like a great idea. I'm actually very unfamiliar with OS X development myself, but if need be, I could look into it. I see that you've made a fork and started work on this. I'd definitely be willing to look at a PR when you're finished.

My primary concern: right now, you need MobileCoreServices to get the MIME type. If there is an OS X compatible library to do this, then we should be able to make this work.

I'll be honest, here: I don't know a tremendous amount about what I'm doing with framework builds. I was able to get it working locally, but likely only because I'm using the putObject() function ONLY right now. I'm about to implement the getObject() function, and, at that point, I imagine, I will run into the MobileCoreServices problem. I'm sure there's an adequate replacement in OSX. I'll keep you posted.

@frankrue Thanks for the updates. If you run into a problem you can't solve on your own, let me know and I'll look into it as well. This library definitely should support OS X ASAP.

@frankrue It looks like on your fork, you were able to remove MobileCoreServices. Is your branch working properly for OS X? If so I'll probably make a pull sometime soon.

I am now using this actively without any problems. If you want to pull, let's go for it. Let me know what I need to do.
