🚀 About Me

🎓 I am Anthony Alvarez, a Front End Web Developer (specializing in Progressive Web Applications (PWA)). Also, for the past two years been doing WordPress Theme development and programming. Building an WooCommerce e-commerce store at Pucho Marketplace.

👨‍💻 I enjoy using Open Source Software. I am really enthusiastic about learning new technology. Hackathons in Princeton, Yale, and New York University. Online hackathons with Digital Ocean, Microsoft Azure and Github. Won bootcamp scholarship from Google and Microsoft.

🎸 Outside the world of tech too, I enjoy pushing myself to develop new skills. My hobbies range from Cooking, Traveling, Photography, and Videography.

📚 I also love reading books on personal development & financial literacy. My favorite ones are The Compound Effect by Darren Hardy in the genre of personal development and Rich Dad Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki in the genre of financial literacy.

✈️ I love traveling too. I was choosen to be a foreign exchange scholar in Guangzhou China while a student at City College of New York. Worked in Hong Kong for three months. Worked in Tokyo Japan as a software engineer for three years with a Japanese company in the Architecture and facilities management field. My passport was used for trips to Japan, Saipan, Hong Kong, China, Thailand, Canada, England, France.

USA travel for business includes: Hawaii, California, Georgia, Washington, Texas, Massachussetts, New Jersey, Connecticut, New York, Washington DC, Virginia, Maryland, and Florida.
