Looks like it does work from the calling method if I do this:
dynamic x = new System.Dynamic.ExpandoObject();
x.Numbers = new int[] { 1, 2, 3 };
var result = _service.ApplyTemplate(x);
from razorengine.
I tried to reproduce this with
private string ApplyWithDynamic(IRazorEngineService service, string template, dynamic model)
{
return service.RunCompileOnDemand(template, "ApplyWithDynamic", null, (object)model);
}
/// <summary>
/// Anonymous classes do not work when wrapped in dynamic (via a method call).
///
/// Issue 43: https://github.com/Antaris/RazorEngine/issues/43
/// </summary>
[Test]
public void Issue43_AnonymousWrappedInDynamic()
{
using (var service = RazorEngineService.Create())
{
const string template = @"@foreach(int x in Model.Numbers){
@x
}";
string expected = "123";
var numbers = new { Numbers = new int[] { 1, 2, 3 } };
string applied_1 = service.RunCompileOnDemand(template, "test", null, numbers);
string applied_2 = ApplyWithDynamic(service, template, numbers);
Assert.AreEqual(expected, applied_1);
Assert.AreEqual(expected, applied_2);
}
}
However that seems to work now.
