Well, sure it will. Each time you are calling Run
and passing in a model, RazorEngine is instantiating a new instance of each template. One of the fundamental changes between v2.1 to v3 is the fact that v2.1 was caching the last result of each call, instead of only caching the template type. This is important, as with the former solution, you ended up with the same merged result each time you ran a template, which is quite frankly just wrong.
The v3 framework correctly now caches the template type, so a new instance is created each time you call Run
(or simply Parse
), so it does not have the original models from the first call.
What you can do, is pass your model in using the Include<T>(string name, T model)
overload from the template itself:
@Include("TemplateB", new { Name = "testB" })
If you don't provide a model for the Include
method, it simply passes the model of the outer template through to the include.
