This would be because you are using @Model in your template somewhere, but not actually providing a model. The Compile and GetTemplate methods operate the cache, so would be expecting string arguments for template content (razorTemplate) and the name (name). If you don't provide a model, it will create an instance of TemplateBase, not TemplateBase<T>, the former not having a Model property.

If you need to use a model with the Compile call, call either the Compile<T>(string, string) overload, or alternatively, the Compile(string, Type, string) overload. GetTemplate should always be passed the model instance, as it will be instantiating your template.
