I'm not sure this is a bug, though the error message could be clearer.
The archive you have asked it to extract does not have a file named typst in it, resulting in Command \"/usr/bin/tar\" could not handle archive: Unable to list files in the archive: /usr/bin/tar: typst: Not found in archive amongst the other error output. It works fine if you specify a file that actually exists in the archive.

I did not recognize that the archive contained a directory.
