This is not something we test for. FWIW I know there's roles for OpenWRT re-implementing many core modules in plain shell as opposed to using Python. You could go a similar route.

This isn't something we're going to document. We document the supported Python versions. Beyond that, if users are using altered Python installations that remove or otherwise break core Python features, we're not going to be able to keep up with documenting all of the possibilities.

The features we use within any Python version change frequently and vary depending on which Ansible features you're using. Users who need this level of information will need to perform their own testing and documentation.
