Apologies for the late response, I've been in bed with Covid for almost a week.

This is an issue caused by a change in the v0.2.8 PlayState update script, where Ninjamuffin (for some reason) decided to use the (more accurate although choppier) sound time rather than incrementing the variable based on how much time has elapsed (smoother).

There's a possibility that this may just be a preprocessor conditional for web targets (since sound works different on browsers), but I would have to check through some coding VODs to be sure, since preprocessor conditionals don't show in the compiled JS code.

get well soon

I've been searching for any VODs to see if I can prove my theory true, however I am unable to find any clips around the time of v0.2.8's development showing that specific section in PlayState.hx. I'm gonna close this issue for now, but if you can find any VODs relating to this, feel free to reopen this issue.

Might be worth mentioning that the SiIvaGunner Ugh rip has these same stuttering notes, more evident by going frame-by-frame.
