Hey, from the looks of it this is a what WordPress sets in place. I'd recommend that you install a plugin like this in order to reorder your category. Having more then one category causes a lot of issues, especially with categories extending outside the content.

Hi

I have installed the plugin with no effect. DIVI 100 plugin selects the category to be shown from an alpabetically order and not from a reordered category.

Categories are appended to the element based on the order it was rendered, if it's not happening that it's an issue with that plugin. The plugin is made to render the first category that it can target in the DOM.

Hi,
it would be cool, if You will consider to add a possibility to choose which category will be shown. Primary, first or last in hierarchy of wordpress. Thx.

As I've stated, the plugin looks for the first category that appears in the DOM. There are plugins that allows you to reorder your categories. Meaning that it should print it out in a certain order, and whatever appears first should be selected.

Hi Andy

The plugin you suggested earlier does not work. I guess this is an inherited problem form DIVI as DIVI sort categories alphabetically. If your code uses DIVI sorting insted of looking up in categories directly maybe that is why we have this issue

I have the same issue. I know the plugin is currently developed to display one category, but is there a look toward allowing more than one? I'm using it in an intranet with multiple blog feeds that feed into one homepage feed. Without having every relevant category visible, those using the intranet can't determine whether is a post is relevant only to the category displayed or if it's relevant to others, too.
