I have it working now but instead of forking this repo, I used the following download gitlab link that I got from jekyllthemes.org:

@ibkevg Glad you got it working! Not sure what the issue was with the first attempt. If you'd like me to take a look, try forking it from GitHub again and editing the config file how you had it before and I will see what I can figure out. I wouldn't have thought that using GitLab to download it vs. forking it from GitHub would make any difference since the GitHub repo is just a mirror from GitLab.

No worries - it seems to be working now. Here are the very beginnings of the blog I'm doing based on Forty, https://ibkevg.github.io, it's in very rough, early stage right now. But the front page looks amazing thanks to your design!

BTW, the navicon on this theme is really slick: https://mmistakes.github.io/minimal-mistakes/

It morphs from the burger icon (3 horizontal lines) to an X and then puts up a popup window. It appears to be built from "Magnific Popup" and "Font-Awesome" but my skill level right now is nowhere near what it needs to be to integrate with Forty.

Do you have any advice?

@ibkevg Actually, HTML5 UP! is the designer. I just integrated Jekyll functionality to the static HTML of the template.

For the hamburger icon transformation, I would recommend looking at CSS3 animations and transformations.

Oh! Thanks for the correction and for the CSS3 tip as well. :)
