Extend ObservableCollection Features about react-model-view-viewmodel HOT 1 CLOSED

Interesting find while working on this with Array.slice. This method can do everything when it comes to mutable array operations, given the right set of parameters it can perform pop, push, shift, unshift, insertAt, removeAt, clear and reset. This simplified the code quite a bit and reduced the chance of bugs.

It's a pleasant surprise given how much I was disappointed in JavaScript for not having all the collection methods that I was so used to and considered to be part of any core interface of a collection. Turns out it does, and even more, it has extra features (why not, after all).

This will have an increment in the major version, breaking changes have been introduced by adding two new events for observable collections, itemAdded and itemRemoved.
