First project that involves consuming an api. Consumed user data from GitHub profile and replicated the profile page for a given user. Emphasis on Detroit School style TDD and utilizing efficient api service testing with help of webmock and vcr.

Brownfield project (inherited an existing code base) designed to allow two players to play a game of battleship by sending POST requests to API endpoints.

bike-share icon bike-share

Application used to track bike share data within the greater San Fransisc Bay Area. The data includes 70 stations throughout the Bay area, with over 600,000 trips between the stations. Users can view analytics for stations, trips, and weather conditions. A bike shop of accessories is also available for users to purchase.

Bird tracker was built using flask and allows users to track favorite bird sightings relative to their given geographic location. Users are sent an email report containing nearby sightings of their favorite birds and can choose from daily, weekly, monthly, or no notifications. Users can also view a map display of recent sightings.

First rails project to implement authentication and authorization, this application provides a venue for users to post interesting dreams and comment on others dreams. Visitors can view dreams and comments, while registered users can post comments and add or delete their dreams, and admin can delete any dream or comment.
