[Feature] Will there be an option to connect PhoneVR to StreamVR using USB cable? about phonevr HOT 5 CLOSED

Its already there, you need to use USB Tethering Option.

I couldn't make it work with USB Tethering. I run PhoneVR first on Android, then run SteamVR. SteamVR says that the headset is not found. When I click "Reset headset" on SteamVR, it connects to PhoneVR. However, PhoneVR only displays black screen.

Is there any requirement or configuration to enable this option?

I am wondering about this too because it just does not work on wifi anymore. Also, I don't see an option to select usb tethering either. I think it only has wifi as a means of connecting. I am trying to see if maybe I can fork this and write my own solution or find a solution elsewhere.

I don't think you have to select tethering to use it. It should be selected automatically when enabled on phone. If tethering (or Ethernet) connection is available Windows prefers it to wireless networks. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Yes @pacjo has answered the question, you just need to enable usb tethering on Phone and PhoneVR will automatically select it. If its not solved yet, please re-open with logs :)
