Can you please clarify the first question? Understand that scanning cannot start immediately after install due to Android architecture limitations. The app must be launched manually first or the device rebooted or power connected/disconnected.

For the second question, see #21. There are some proposed fixes, but nothing implemented yet. Regardless, the scanning should restart within a minute of when the phone again becomes active.

Thanks for reply. In case of first question i understand why now.

But the second case with application killed in background is really shame ... beacause what i need in first place with beacons is react to them in background.

Can you please clarify your experience on the Galaxy S3? Does the BeaconService resume scanning when the phone exits deep sleep? (E.g. when you illuminate the screen and unlock the device)
