arcade-game icon arcade-game

This was another Udacity FEND Nanodegree project that was geared towards learning object oriented JavaScript. I wrote all of the code in the app.js file, all of the other files were given to us and I might have only had to manipulate small parts of them.

This was a JavaScript practice project from the SkillCrush Front End Developer Blueprint class that I took. It shows a map of the US that displays the results of a fake election as you hover over the map.

first-javascript-code icon first-javascript-code

I am learning JavaScript through courses on treehouse.com and one of the challenges in the course was to create a quiz that followed certain criteria. This was also my very first JavaScript code project that I did from scratch on my own!

lolcat-clock icon lolcat-clock

This project is from my skillcrush.com front end development blueprint class, the objective was to practice writing JavaScript and learning to connect JavaScript with HTML and CSS. They supplied the HTML and CSS, while I wrote the JavaScript with the help and guidance of the skillcrush teachers. I modified some of the CSS at the end to change the colors to be more my style. I also modified some of the pictures and wording in the HTML to be more me as well.

magic8-ball icon magic8-ball

This was a project from my Front End Developer career blueprint class. It was the first time I had ever incorporated jQuery into my JavaScript code. The instructors of the class provided the HTML and CSS files and those of us in the class were tasked with writing the JavaScript code to make the magic 8 ball come to life when it was asked a question.

This was the final project for the three month "Grow with Google" Front End Developer Scholarship that I was accepted into. This scholarship was the first step towards receiving a full scholarship towards their Front End Developer Nanodegree. The pixel maker allows the user to select a grid size, select a color, and click in a square to change its color and make a picture.
