build-id.txt does not exist about activitylog2 HOT 1 CLOSED

This message is harmless, it is generated by the embedded-commit-id in utilities.rkt

The build-id.txt file is created in build.rkt, and adds the git commit id to the file. It is only really useful when an application is built in a clean repository using racket build.rkt The commit id is only used in the About dialog of the application to identify a build.

I must admit I never thought about this feature too much, I added this feature quickly as an experiment.

The build id is embedded inside the generated code, so you will only get this error again if you recompile utilities.rkt. You can silence this error by placing a line of text in the "build-id.txt" file.
