probably after removing cron from container all the image can be simplified with removing supervisord and spliting nginx to another container with volumes_from flag

to bring that idea to life
Currently container looks working.

Hi @freeseacher It's an interesting approach. I'm no expert on Docker and it seems best practices are still evolving. Let me review your suggestions and get back to you. And thanks for sharing your docker container. That helped me understand what you were trying to do.

I'm not convinced that this is an issue that needs to addressed by creating a new container just to run the heartbeat cron job.
