I thought the same thing, and then looked at the source code and found that it is using $.browser.mozilla, which is removed in jquery 1.9+. You'll need to add jquery-migrate in order to make this plugin work on the latest jquery - https://github.com/jquery/jquery-migrate/

Oh, I didn't see that code before. Looks like there is a bug in it, though. You are setting $.browser to be a function. I think you meant to immediately invoke that function? I'll submit a merge request.
