Thought I would share way I modified the fetched text config which got by this whitespace issue (which I think is quite bad for end users) and allowed a sectionless config file:
extract = do
ctxt <- ("[default]\n" <>) . (<> "\n") <$> TIO.readFile conf'
case parseIniFile ctxt $ section "default" do
-- ... monadic field parsing ...
Feel like these are little adjustments what would make this library even better <3
from config-ini.
