@oliver-leung properties of the pipeline can be stored in the attributes attached to the skeleton library. I think the MVP here should be having a feature that allows selection of a single pipe. That pipe will use an attribute that points to the underlying line from which the pipe was created, and that line will have attributes specifying a flowProperties attribute. That attribute will have the diam, headLossMajor, length , nu, roughness of th pipe or just the kMinor of the fitting. The headloss function will be responsible for grabbing those variables, and a flow rate and temperature, and produce the expected headloss. This will definiteely require some iteration and tweaking as we go through it.
