I cannot get basic functionality to work without spurious console errors and broken features. I would avoid.

Is someone interested to be given committer status to help maintain this? I'm open to adding more maintainers, preferably someone with at least a bit of prior work that demonstrates their ability to maintain OSS.

@aehlke - would you consider updating the main README to say you are looking to add more maintainers to the project? Having this statement hidden away in an issue does not help the project.
