I think I have this resolved, I had to apply this fix to chosen in order for it to recognize the select's as tabindex's.
So now, all base form elements are 5-70, attributes added are all 100 and sockets are all 150. Tab through all primary fields, then onto attributes, then select gems.
Give it a whirl and if you think it's good, lemme know or close this shit out! :)
