atlas eos configuration about chpctier2 HOT 11 CLOSED

storage arrays redone after resetting admin passwords thanks to uct donated cable. THANK YOU UCT
2x109TB and 1x60TB raid 5 with 3.6TB disks redone as:

8 raid6 arrays of 5x36.3 TB (12 disks), 1x 32.7TB (11 disks), 1x 29.1TB (10 disks), 1x10.9TB (5 disks), and 4 hot spares.
The oddities are due to the trays and distribution of disks, 2 enclosures, 5 trays and 12 disks per tray not all full.

Its still rebuilding, since 15 june at 3pm, its now 17 june 12pm, and 4 arrays still have c. 25 hours to go. In future we will be doing more "standard" eos configs.

This is still ongoing xrootd13 is 1h17m, xrootd14 is 45min, 16,17,18,15 are between 20 and 23 hours to go. This is alot slower than for the other storage system, a little worrying ..

all storage is sorted, they are now on their preferred controller.

xrootd redirector does not have a public ip, fix in progress, it might be slow.

xrootd redirector is now moved from grid-xrootd to grid-se and similarly the ip, the ports that the server plugs into sadly are not public yet

the ssh has gone awol again and nothing in the logs, what else is likely to randomly drop off.

A reinstall might be the best option as what ever i inherited is not operating as epected, I have never had a problem with sshd before. This might be a similar cause of the "booting" fst problem on #16

grid-se is waiting a cable and public port for it to go outside.

This server will go live pending the 10G interface from grid-ui
