Small update:
Add Helios with Cargo like this also fails when building the project afterward (with the same error as before): cargo add --git https://github.com/a16z/helios helios.
The same is true when adding the client, execution, or helios-ts.
What can be added successfully are the cli, common, config, and consensus packages.

I am able to reproduce the issue. It seems some dependencies has a breaking change. Preparing a fix now.

It should be working now on master. The issue was due to ethers-rs making a breaking change. Feel free to reopen if you are still running into trouble.
