Multiple Operating Systems

Thank you for the great efforts you made to get this done in very easy way.

Just a suggestion ;-)
Is there a way to install it with other os? like with berryboot or Noobs?
I would love to have it along the side with Raspbian

Keyboard not detected during windows setup

Hi,

First thank your for your works.
My keyboard is detected when i'm on the bios but not during windows setup.
I'm stuck at the language screen selection.

Do you have a solution for this ?

Wi-Fi driver

I would love to have the program inject a driver for Wi-Fi. Is drivers already written?

Non loading disc

I love this idea and I'm trying to adopt it in my school.
Unfortunately, after many issues in search of a valid wim, I wasn't enable to get the list of removable in the application.
How could that be? I'm using win7 64 machine and that's the only option I have...
Thanks a lot

Can't find Winload.efi

I am working on this project, but when I first boot, it gives me a blue screen saying that it can't find \windows\system32\winload.efi I know that this file exists after checking it using raspberryian on the pi. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

How to get it offreg.dll file?

I run aria2_download_windows.cmd
ERROR: Can not open output file : 拒绝访问。 : .\bin\offreg.dll
How to get it offreg.dll file?

DISM exited with code 5

Hey, tried to deploy with the tool and got this error message.

As reference, I'm using the 1809 ARM version updated in March.

Installer OS

I like this project. I am still trying to get the pi to boot to windows, but that is because I had to do it a hard way. Anyways, would it be to hard to create an OS image that would install the OS to the SD card? Currently, I am having to copy the OS files over from an VHD file to my USB drive, from a VM, because I do not have the correct permissions on any of or PCs. I would do this myself, but I do not know enough about what is needed for it to work to do it myself. Please respond when able.

Multiple drives created on 64GB SD card - undocumented

** Description **
I'm not sure if this is expected but there is no documentation on the expected results. Could you add docs of expected output?

G: EIFSP boot partion
H: blank and had to format it 128MB
J: Windows image

To Reproduce

 • I have a 64GB card formated to Fat32 as required for a Raspberry Pi
 • Loaded as G:
 • install.wim mounted as I:
 • Run WoA deployer
 • Get asked to format H:

Expected behavior

Unknown as not documented

Thanks

DISM exited with code 2

Got this Code Error (2) trying to Deploy the Windows 10 on my SD Card, i'm using on a Windows 10 Pro fully updated (Windows Update message says that)

Problems with the first boot

Because the old repo was archived, i open a new one here.
So created an SD card with 1809 Windows and core package which has been provided and after probably a hour of initialise progress, the system crashed before the first boot.

I was assuming that will be in the section where i can choose user, and some privacy info .. but it crashed.
I'm using a hungarian version of windows, but the error code is still in international format :)

img_20190220_155055

If you have any ideas what i should do to fix the issue, i would be happy.

Crashes immediately when pointing to install.wim file, FRESH WINDOWS 10 1903 installation

Could not create ISO

I was able to download the "creatingISO_17763.346_en-us_arm64_Professional.cmd" file but was not able to execute it.
after it downloads a bunch of files, the screen clears and I get an error that says: "Error work script.".

Am I leaving something out?

(I have downloaded to script file to c:\temp\WindowsARM folder)

Crash when attempting to flash write-protected disk

When attempting to flash a write-protected disk, WOA-Deployer crashes on line 40 of WOA-Deployer-Rpi\Source\DeployerPlatform\Deployer.NetFx\ImageFlasher.cs, due to a null s variable:

After wiping the SD card with zeros and reformatting it, I was able to successfully flash and deploy Windows 10 to the card.

TERM AND TERMINATION. The license provided in this Agreement will continue in perpetuity unless You fail to comply with the terms and conditions of this Agreement. You agree that, upon such termination, you will either destroy (or permanently erase) all copies of the Software and Documentation, or return the original Software and Documentation to MCCI, together with any other material you have received from MCCI in connection with the Software.

TRANSFERS. You may not transfer the Software or any rights under this Agreement without the prior written consent of MCCI. Any attempted transfer or assignment in violation of this provision shall be null and void.

MCCI and its suppliers own the Software and all intellectual property rights embodied therein, including copyrights and valuable trade secrets embodied in the Software's design and coding methodology. The Software is protected by United States copyright laws and international treaty provisions. This Agreement provides You only a limited use license, and no ownership of any intellectual property. All risk of quality and performance of the software and documentation is with You. This disclaimer of warranty constitutes an essential part of this Agreement.

To the extent that this Warranty Statement is inconsistent with the jurisdiction where You use the Software, the Warranty Statement shall be deemed to be modified consistent with such local law but to the maximum extent enforceable in such jurisdiction. Under such local law, certain limitations may not apply, and You may have additional rights which vary from jurisdiction to jurisdiction. For example, some states in the United States and some jurisdictions outside the United States may: (i) preclude the disclaimers and limitations of this Warranty Statement from limiting the rights of a consumer; (ii) otherwise restrict the ability of a manufacturer to make such disclaimers or to impose such limitations; or (iii) grant the consumer additional legal rights, specify the duration of implied warranties which the manufacturer cannot disclaim, or prohibit limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts.

IN NO EVENT SHALL MCCI BE LIABLE FOR DAMAGES IN EXCESS OF THE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU TO MCCI OR THIS SOFTWARE LICENSE. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE LIMITATION OF LIABILITY FOR PERSONAL INJURY, OR OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THIS LIMITATION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. In no event shall MCCI's total liability to You for all damages (other than as may be required by applicable law in cases involving personal injury) exceed the amount of fifty dollars ($50.00). The foregoing limitations will apply even if the above stated remedy fails of its essential purpose.

In particular, but without limitation, the Software or underlying information or technology may not be exported or re-exported (i) into (or to a national or resident of) Cuba, Libya, North Korea, Iran, Syria or any other country to which the United States has embargoed goods; or (ii) to anyone on the U.S. Treasury Department's list of Specially Designated Nationals, the U.S. Commerce Department's Table of Denial Orders, or the U.S. Department of Commerce Denied Person's List or Entity List. By downloading, ordering or using the Software, You agree to the foregoing and represent that You are not located in, under the control of, or a national or resident of any such country or on any such list. You also agree that you will not use the Software for any purposes prohibited by United States law, including, without limitation, the development, design, manufacture or production of missiles, or nuclear, chemical or biological weapons.

rock64/pine64/rockpro64 support.

http://files.pine64.org/doc/rock64/tools/DriverAssitant_v4.5.zip windows drivers.**

release for rock64/rockpro64 is not up.. pine64 image however is.. and has remained stable.

however the boards are similar to RPI3 however 4 gigs of ram , NVME/m.2 support on rockpro64 or sata via PCIE-x4 might be of use.. (IE media server)

PINE64 Win10 IoT needs boot files replaced.. , for them to work ,

the powershell/scripts or other build your own image from WOA-Deployer-Rpi to bring iot to a full.

could be an option, ie Base IOT , then scripts append the image..
board i have to test on other than RPI3-A , is the rock64pro , with LDC camera case etc,
as to try to shove into case a header clip and micro pcie-4 to nvme not the pine stores as its a more full height.
(Micro Connectors PCIE-M21U80HS low-profile M.2 NVMe SSD to PCIe X4 via amazon B07J6NHX8H)

as Pine64 has nas cases and cards makes for a w10 powered nas/media server , something most of the house gets (since linux to the rest of them is 'voodoo')

Stucks at flashing GPT image

I select a 16GB SD card and the WIM file. Press GO and ....
It displays the approval for USB drivers and then downloads the UEFI.
Then he wants to flash the data, but nothing happens.

Started the program as administrator.
System: Windows 10 Pro 64bit (1809)

RPI Cannot complete first boot, keeps rebooting after setting locale options

Hello, I have issue when booting the freshly baked SD card (Kingston 16GB) on my RPI Model 3 B+. I tried using both Windows 10 versions 1903[arm64] and 1803[arm64]. Also tried with both WoA Deployer 2.0.0 and 2.1.1. All attempts led to this:

issue

I have used wired LAN connection.

Could it be a WoA Deployer related issue, maybe drivers or something?
Any help would be highly appreciated.

Best regards,
Bozhidar

WOA Deployer in WinARM version #34

Is possible to have a WOA Deployer in WinARM exe ?
The idea is to build new SD Card from a Raspberry Pi without using another Win10 PC.
Thanks in advance. # #

error code: 1392

so, today this error code was shown to me, after flashing about 50% of the image.

I'm using Win 10, the WOA is on 2.1.0 and I wanted to flash Windows 10 Home build 17134.
The SD Card I was using got 32GB.
Sorry but I did not find any information about this error code.

Cannot find SD/MMC on Broadcom SDHOST

Hi,
From your FAQ (https://discourse.pi64.win/t/frequently-asked-questions-faq/49) :
"I have deployed Windows, and after booting, all I see is a console with text. It doesn’t boot Windows at all!"
...
-> Put the ‘SD/MMC on Broadcom SDHOST’ as the first element.
..

What if I don't have this option?

I have : "uSD on SD Host" or "uSD on Arasan MMC host"
Both do not load Windows.

Thanks for help

Error on Deploy: "Could not find a part of the path 'C:\WINDOWS\system32\Scripts\Deployment.txt'"

Describe the bug
After following the steps to generate the WOA ISO (link) and proceeding to exercise the WOA Deployer for Raspberry PI (2.11), when I click Deploy, I receive the error: "Could not find a part of the path 'C:\WINDOWS\system32\Scripts\Deployment.txt'.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

 1. Go to https://github.com/WOA-Project/guides/blob/master/GettingWOA.md and follow the steps to download an ARM64 ISO installer image.
 2. Go to https://github.com/WOA-Project/WOA-Deployer-Rpi and download the latest version (link)
 3. Mount the ISO image (E:)
 4. Extract WOA.Deployer to C:\temp\WOA.Deployer
 5. In File Explorer, navigate to C:\temp\WOA.Deployer and double click WoaDeployer.exe
 6. In the DRIVE SELECTION drop-down, select your MicroSD card (mine is 64GB)
 7. In the WINDOWS IMAGE, specify the path E:\sources\install.wim
 8. Note the drop-down below the path will populate with: 1 Windows 10 Pro build 17763
 9. Click Deploy
 10. Click OK to Confirm deployment
 11. Note the displayed error:

Improve drive listing

Describe the bug

it would be helpful for being confident in identifying the correct drive if the drives list included the Drive letters and Volume labels.

Mount ISO files

To whoever wrote the issue template, I apologize for deleting all of it.

Anyways, the title says it, I think it would be great if this tool could mount and extract the WIM from an ISO file, which would save new users some confusion, and experienced users a manual step.

I'm not sure of all the different ways to do this, but I do know 7zip can extract an ISO, and if I remember correctly you can even specify a specif file to extract so skips all the rest.

Formatting out of sequence, possibly need to be serialized steps?

I walked away from my laptop for a few minutes while the deployment was running. When I came back, there were two format disk dialogs, one for the boot partition and a second for the windows os. I evidently ran them out of sequence (both actually formatted just fine) but then the following deployment failed. The deployment succeeded on the second try. Apparently something waiting for the formatting steps to complete failed on the first attempt. Log text:

WOA Deployer in WinARM version

Is possible to have a WOA Deployer in WinARM exe ?
The idea is to build new SD Card from a Raspberry Pi without using another Win10 PC.
Thanks in advance.

Clean temp files

Hi,

is there any way to clean the 9566/temp folder created after the build ?
Around 15,6Go is a pretty big usage of my disk and it seems that I don't have permissions to delete all the files.

Thx
