This has two dependencies:

• the server having more a more up-to-date git
• git worktree handling submodules properly (as of 2.12.2 the man page cautions it doesn't)

This would be a better fix to excessive disk usage than #20 as it is less fragile, and allows us to share objects in PRs.

Is there still a way to get this code https://dev.w3.org/cvsweb/2001/DOM-Test-Suite/ added to the list of w3c list of github repos?
