filter-hotkeys's Issues

Unable to toggle with same key binding

I have a filter on my mic audio, and I am able to bind keys to enable/disable. However, when using the same key for both, the filter will enable but no longer toggle afterwards.

I also noticed that I have 3 hotkey options. 0;Mic/Aux;MyFilter, 1;Mic/Aux;MyFilter, and 2;Mic/Aux;MyFilter. My understanding is that 0 is off, and 1 is on. Not sure what 2 is, so perhaps that is the issue?

Thanks.

Does not work w/ Capture Cards

Does not seem to work when applying audio filters to a capture card. I believe the issue may be due to OBS combining Audio/Video together in one category for the filters instead of separate categories. When I attempt to apply the filter it disables the video but the filter does work outside of that. Any chance this could be updated to work w/ capture cards? Tyvm

one hotkey for on/off

Thanks for making this script!
I find it very useful and I saw people looking for a function like this for years. I find it weird that the program doesn't include this option already.
When controlling sources with hotkeys it is possible to enable and disable them with a single hotkey. However, the script you provided requires two separate hotkeys to turn filters on and off.
Is there a way to combine both under one hotkey? That would leave more keys for combinations and also require less memorization on the user side. I hope it's not a hard thing to code in.
Great job and looking forward for more useful OBS Studio stuff!

obs-dock-hotkeys

Hello, sir.
Can you develop the "obs-dock-hotkeys"?
It will show or hide dock.
Thank you in advance.

Filters not showing up in hotkeys search

I loaded the script in OBS and it did nothing. I have no idea what could be wrong with it. I have a filter named "Noise Suppression" and it's not showing up like all the other filters. Made sure the search was case-sensitive too.

filter *values* via hotkeys?

I find that with both audio and video filters, I often want to slightly adjust the filter values.

It would be possible to set up several stepped values as different named filters, and turn those on and off with obs-filter-hotkeys, but it would be more useful for my use case to just have hotkey control over the values themselves...

For example, in Color Correction Filters:

it would be good to be able to select e.g. Brightness, and attach hotkeys to up, down, and 'reset' (to zero) or a hotkey for a specific value. Then I could bind these hotkeys to my stream deck and have buttons that don't require opening the Color Correction panel.
