What is 'limoaddin'?

limoaddin is an RStudio Add-In to interactively pick out datasets in the R working space, pick out a numeric variable and create a ggplot2 histogram. Afterwards, the code to create this histogram is pasted to the location of the cursor.

Installation

devtools::install_github("Stan125/limoaddin")

Usage

The usage is simple; if a dataset is loaded into the working space, just click on the Add-In Tab and select 'Histogram Add-In'. The Add-In itself quickly pops up and you are good to go!

about the .Rproj file

Hey Stani,

I'm around here again and would just like to ask if you forgot the .Rproj file for this add-in... Well I took the one from the "GREA" and it works.

Add a readme

It's near to impossible to understand what your code does without installing it if you don't provide a readme with:

  • why?
  • how to install?
  • minimal working example with screenshots

This could possibly get of lot of interest given how recent addins are and the buzz that I foresee about it. But I am pretty sure no one will install anything without a (at least short) description.
