Any chance to update to Kepler soon ? about eclipse-integration-gradle HOT 11 CLOSED

The gradle tooling doesn't really have much Eclipse version specific code. It should be possible to install the gradle tooling into Kepler. We don't yet have an update site with all dependencies for Keppler.

However if you only select the gradle tooling bits from the generic update site it will probably install without problems into Kepler.

Use this update site: http://dist.springsource.com/release/TOOLS/gradle

And install only the "Gradle IDE" piece under "Extensions / Gradle Integration"

If you hit problems with missing dependencies I can help you figure out where to get them. But likely it will just install.

It worked as STS 3.3.0 was released yesterday and it worked for Kepler. Thanks for your answer.

Try unchecking the boxes 'Group Items by category' and 'Hide items that are already installed'. Maybe you'll see more stuff.

It looks to me like you have some network issues. Something is blocking you from accessing the update site. Maybe firewall / proxy issues?

If you are in network environment behind firewall you may need to configure eclipse network settings to configure proxies.
See 'window >> preferences >> General >> Network Connections'.

But i have downloaded archive file for gradle.. And used it, but it shows this,

Seems to me that garadle-1.12-all.zip is not an eclipse update site archive, but rather the Gradle 1.12 (binaries + source). SDo just Gradle by itself and not the Gradle Eclipse Integration archived update site… Wrong file to try it seems.
BTW, this update site http://dist.springsource.com/release/TOOLS/gradle works fine for me too. Must some interference with your network settings as Kris indicated previously.

Yup, it was a network issue. Now i can see all option including Gradle IDE.
I am unstalling it now.
