David will gladly help test the deblender, but he needs some help getting it to work

Sorry David, I didn't see this message before.

We're in the middle of changing the API to proxmin, so the deblender doesn't work with the main branch. You should be able to checkout the orig branch in the proxmin repo and the deblender should work again.

Have you pulled the latest version of proxmin?

Try to pull the latest deblender. I guess @pmelchior didn't copy the als module (since it is no longer part of proxmin and is likely to be stripped from the deblender).

Yeah, ALS is the wrong solution, this is why I banned it. I need to go through the deblender code to see where it wants to call/import that. For all intents, it should be obsolete. Sorry about the long delay, I wasn't subscribed to the issue either.

I made several changes and commits, the latest being 830108a, that make use of the new API and algorithm updates in proxmin. You'll need to update proxmin to the latest master and then get the branch new_api from deblender. Then you should be back in business.
