You may remove the http:// from your WHISHPER_HOST var.

But I´ve the same problem as you.
I can see 404 errors in chrome dev-tools while getting /api/transcriptions

Maybe a incorrect Webserver config ?

changed the whishper host to the correct ip now its working

from whishper.
