`Filesystem.listenFile `causes loop to crash and be causes loop to be unable to be uninstalled about loop-development-kit HOT 6 CLOSED

@latman-oliveai - Thanks for reporting. Some other teams are also experiencing this problem.

We have created an internal task for this: SIDE-2220. We are also seeing similar issues with filesystem.listenDir, which we plan to address with this internal task.

I've done some troubleshooting with Kevin, it appears that the listenDir/listenFile capabilities are causing the process to hang altogether, the promise doesn't even get returned. I cannot reproduce this locally but I'm working with a different build. Given that we're cutting a release today/tomorrow we're going to see if this issue still exists and then deal with it from there.

I suspect that the Loop itself is also stuck in the "starting" state and never getting to "started".

Thanks for the update @richseviora, we saw this same behavior with another team today - they were pointed at the OH release from last week.

@latman-oliveai: an update on this issue - We have addressed the issue with listenDir and listenFile and expect this to go out with the next Olive Helps / LDK release.

LDK V 3.0.0.beta.3 and Olive Helps V 0.17.3 have been released. This issue should now be resolved. If you find that it is still not working for you, please reopen the ticket.
