It is done.
May I ask you to try a contribution test following the procedure I've written in the contrib.md file?
from esvm.
No problem. I think my existing work has already exercised the report issues and seek support sections. The first section on contributing a change does not quite work. I tried with both the https method in the instructions as well as with ssh. But get this message:
gs6101-midas:ESVM tclune$ git push
Enter passphrase for key '/Users/tclune/.ssh/id_rsa':
ERROR: Permission to michaeltouati/ESVM.git denied to tclune.
fatal: Could not read from remote repository.
Please make sure you have the correct access rights
and the repository exists.
Basically regular users do not (and should not) have write permission to your repository. I think you want to add some earlier instructions about first forking the repository. They can then push to their fork and to the PR from there.

Thank you very much
For regular users, they have indeed to do it on their forked repo. and not on the main repo.
I've made a mistake

I have updated the contributing.md file. It would be marvelous if you can try to make a contribution test following the procedure I've written to see if it's ok now.
from esvm.
OK - I've followed the new instructions. I did not bother trying to get all the details to produce a fully functional test. Just verified that the steps will result in a valid PR on your end. (Which you should close, not approve.)
