Compensation procedure to mitigating positional dependencies in planar electrode impedance microcytometers
The equivalent circuit model for a parallel electrode impedance cytometer is analyzed together with Maxwell's theory of homogenization of mixtures. It deals with both a modeling single and double shell.
In this analysis some computational models are introduced for the finite element analysis of isotropic and kinematic hardening behaviors. The response to a cyclic load is analyzed for some stainless steels. These simulations exploit a linear quadratic finite element with elastic-plastic behavior with isotropic and kinematic hardening. These models are fundamental for analyzing the material response following a repeated cyclic load.
The idea is to create a device connected to the internet capable of measuring the electrical consumption of a three-phase line and keeping a historical data to optimize energy consumption
Through the prediction it is possible to predict, starting from the knowledge of the parameters, the evolution temporal blood glucose. Once the accuracy of the model has been verified, it is also possible to start from data from an IVGTT test and to trace the estimate of the glucose effectiveness and insulin sensitivity paramete

The viscoelastic constants estimated by the lumped-parameter model are indicative of the properties of the whole cell and not of the individual constituents such as membrane, cytoskeleton or cytoplasm, for which a different model would be required.

The idea of the project is to show a concept and how practically to control gripper and rotation via sensor signals. The project includes different devices such as Arduino, ESP, sensors and accessories and different languages such as Python, C/C++, php, Processing. This allowed us to deepen the skills acquired with the 'Electronica II' course. The structure is very simple and made in full of maker and DIY philosophy, only with recycled objects.
I dettagli e i motivi di queste modifiche saranno presentati piรน avanti. In questa relazione รจ presente anche un attento studio ai materiali e come questi possano inficiare il funzionamento del progetto o come possano invece portare grandi vantaggi.
Physiological reflexes are the basis of the organism's survival. Such reflexes allow, in completely involuntary way of maintaining homeostasis. Variations in environmental variables or the appearance of a new signal induce a reflex response, by integration centers, aimed at restoring balance or avoiding dangerous situations. The following report applies the typical techniques of automatic controls to the analysis of the reflex from muscle strain and pupillary reflex, analyzing its behavior and stability. The stretch reflex is induced by excessive stretching of the muscle and therefore comes induced an autonomous contraction. The pupillary reflex predicts a change in the pupillary diameter in response to a change in ambient light. These reflexes are characterized by different systems and pathways but both can go into instability if, for different pathologies, the gain of the system increases excessively.
Pulmonary ventilation is a critical operation both during surgery and for assisted or replacement ventilation of the patient. This report proposes the analysis of a pulmonary mechanics model using an electrical analogy with an equivalent circuit consisting of resistors and capacitors. Such an electrical-mechanical analogy allows to analyze how the variation of lung parameters influences the ventilation in the case pressure-controlled ventilators and thus simulate the response of the pulmonary system to ventilation. A mathematical model is also proposed for the implementation of a fan controlled by pressure with square wave, within the Simulink modeling environment, with graphic interface and user-selectable parameters. Different pathological conditions are then simulated going to see how the variation of the lung compliance has the predominant effect. Small changes in the capacitance values are reflected in large variations in the volume of incoming air up to dangerous states for the patient himself.
A linear model of lung mechanics is analyzed in the following report. The model corresponds to an RLC circuit with unknown parameters. Parametric identification allows to trace the system governance coefficients once a mathematical model has been estimated. Different approaches allow to minimize the difference between the estimated parameters and the real measures. An approach without numerical differentiation is addressed, using the Nelder-Mead algorithm and an approach using the relaxed Gauss-Newton method. Both methods lead to the correct estimation of the parameters but some considerations allow to optimize their performance.
The main purpose of this project is to create an open system for the management of a domestic heating system. The system is open and provides an example through which it is possible to adapt it for each heating system. The system includes a puffer, solar panel and a boiler.
The purpose of this project is to create a station for monitoring the environmental conditions for home.
