I guess Rails 4 will be pretty much compatible with Rails 3? So it would just mean modifying the gem dependencies from 'rails', '~> 3'
to >= 3.1
or similar for most gems I imagine?

I definitely plan on Rails 4 compatibility. As soon as Rails releases a beta, I'll start checking it out. Thanks!

Installing Rails from the git repository reports itself as '4.0.0.beta' . I modified the gem dependencies but found that there are several changes to the way AR handle's scopes, that are outside the 'scope' of my rails abilities ;)

Yes, I could add a dependency pointing to the Rails repository, but not having a beta release points to the fact that things are still shifting around within Rails. When Rails 4 is settled enough for a prerelease, I'll feel better about adding compatibility.
