Motivation

User can save and read a note. This takes care of issue-2 #2 as well.

Implementation

• Create index.js

• Install npm packages(express, body-parser and mongoDB) as dependencies, and nodemon as devDependency.

  • Add "start" and "watch" in pacakge.json "script".

• Add express to index.js.

• Add listen for express app with port 3000.(app.listen)

• Add GET for express app.(app.get)

  • Use URL 'note' and connect to mongoDB.
  • Close the connection.

• Add POST for express app.(app.post)

  • Use URL 'note' and connect to mongoDB.
  • Close the connection.

Motivation

User can update a note by id.

• Add app.PUT method in index.js
  • Connect to mongoDB library/note.
  • Add updateOne method to update contents of matched id.
  • Catch error
  • Close db.

  • Add deleteOne method to delete the object of matched id.
  • Catch error
