Hi, great work - very very useful documentation. I'm working on adapting prudaq code for a similar project.
I think this line:
cape_disable=capemgr.disable_partno=BB-BONELT-HDMI,BB-BONELT-HDMI

should be

cape_disable=capemgr.disable_partno=BB-BONELT-HDMI,BB-BONELT-HDMIN

The newest beagleLogic-image from https://beaglelogic.readthedocs.io/en/latest/beaglelogic_system_image.html (Released on 2017-07-13)
comes with the kernel version 4.9 , but the quickstart "Option 1: Using the BeagleLogic system image" describes the sampling with a 4.8 kernel version i think.

In the image with the 4.9 kernel version some folders/paths have different names/are different now...
So replacing pru1 firmware (step 6) and setting up the pwm-signal for the clock (step 7, end of setup-script) doesnt work like described in the quickstart with the newest beaglelogic image...

prudaq_capture needs to run as root or else it seg faults, lets put a check for uid=0 in the code itself to notify the user, otherwise it's hard to know what's going on.

Why was closed source software used to make the open source hardware. i.e. why not use KiCad instead of eagle?

Reading the outbound data performance bit intrigued me. I believe the usb gadget interface on the BBB should theoretically be capable of much higher speeds than the onboard 10/100 NIC. You may simply be missing some performance tuning. Have you ensured that you were using the latest useable kernel and usb-cdc-dma? I can't test because I have neither a BBB nor a prudaq.

after make and make install(run true). i run sudo ./setupT but i have this error:

./setup.sh: line 43: echo: write error: File exists
Couldn't enable the prudaq-00A0.dtbo device overlay. (If the error was 'File exists', then the overlay was already enabled.)

i check /lib/firmware and prudaq-00A0.dtbo exist in this location.

in uEnv.txt:
i first comment enable_uboot_overlays=1(if was uncomment slots not exist in bone_capemgr)

kernel version : 4.9.147-ti-r121
any one can help?

what are the various analog/digital pins available to be used in this project?
