Some should be rewrote, some maybe not... The decision is yours:

  • see this blog post
  • You can also download or clone the source code underlying the book to support your learning.
  • Every core sfheaders function has a corresponding C++ implementation, as described in the Cpp vignette.
  • and documentation describing joins with data.table and other packages.
  • For that purpose, we need to apply a scaling factor (0.0000275) and add an offset (-0.2) to the original values.^[You can read more about it at https://www.usgs.gov/faqs/how-do-i-use-a-scale-factor-landsat-level-2-science-products.]

  • the CRS and tranformation tutorial on the GDAL website for details)
  • read Paul Ramsey's comprehensive blog post on this topic.
  • The OGC services coverage is described here
  • as outlined in the style guide of the Journal of Maps
  • to find ways to triangulate non-convex polygons (a topic covered in the online algorithm article that supports this chapter)
  • and the GIS-related teaching materials available from Marburg University.

Hello everyone,
Just for your information and in case you still want to link to the Marburg course materials. We have split the GI teaching materials and since some terms have different landing pages for "Environmental Informatics" (the one you linked to) and "GISMA Spatial Science Resources".
On the new pages (GISMA...) there are additional GIS, RS and modelling courses. I am currently revising all courses to be available in both English and German...

Thanks Chris, I've had a quick look, they seem great! Leaving it as-is is current plan, with https://geomoer.github.io/moer-info-page/courses.html having a nice intro to R course, I guess people with find their way from the Marburg mention.
