Event Listener throws an error about nl.fokkezb.cachedimageview HOT 5 CLOSED

Just discovered that the source id is actually imageView - but that doesnt work if I add an event listener to that either

The $.photo in your code isn't the Ti.UI.ImageView, but the widget controller. To get the actual ImageView and add an eventlistener, do this:

$.photo.imageView.addEventListener('click', function (e) {
    alert('Hello world');
});
