Hey Friendo, it's DW (he/him).

My name is David Wesst, but a lot of people call me DW or Wessty for short. I work as an enterprise solution architect at the University of Manitoba, where I solve IT challenges with a focus on integration modernization for legacy enterprise systems. When I'm not bringing enterprises into the future, I am working on tech talks, hacking on my website, or working on my dream video game project.

Backup Stream Assets and OBS Config

Use GitHub to store the configuration of OBS along with any other major assets required to stream. Goal should be do do a clone of the repo and point OBS at it and BAM you're good.

Stream Setup Checklist

Create a setup checklist for streaming that can be used to remind you what you need to do before the stream (coding or gaming).

Use move transitions between main coding scene and just chatting

Create custom stinger for "Demo Time" segment

Use Blender to create a custom stinger that can be used to start and end a "demo time" segment or general short segment.

Use move source transitions for webcam for livecoding scenes

Use the StreamDeck to enable/disable filters to move the camera around the "main" coding scene.

Alerts Not Displaying in All Scenes

Alerts should be displaying in all scenes-- this needs to be done for both Desktop and Gaming setups

Store livestream assets in livestream repository (excluding logo)

Setup private repository for logo assets

Document "how to setup" the config for all the parts

Once #3 is complete, document how to setup OBS and all the pieces you need to replicate your setup from vanilla.
