Right. This should be implemented. However, it will require to store the electrode labels (numbers) in addition to the number of contacts (n_contacts in spike data dictionary) and raw data.

Another great thing to have would be to label the electrodes by shank. Of course, this is only relevant if you have multiple shanks.

as a first step we should at least make 0 1 2 3 ... kind of contact labels on the Y axis

Ordered labels are fine. However, I would prefer to have the labels on the plot itself rather than on the axes. The axes should show the units, so that one can look up a threshold.
