Hi @zhuxiujia
yes and no. Transactions in ArangoDB do not offer separate BEGIN, COMMIT and ROLLBACK operations. Instead, ArangoDB transactions are described by a JavaScript function, and the code inside the JavaScript function will then be executed transactionally. This function is sent over our REST API and therefore it is implemented in the underlying Java driver which you can use as follow:
template.driver().db(name).transaction(action, type, options);
There is no additional handling in our Spring Data module.

@mpv1989 Is the transaction available in cluster mode?
So what you're saying is that you have to use Java drivers to use transactions.

@mpv1989 Will transaction support be added in the future version of the spring data project?

@zhuxiujia We are fully ACID in the cluster for single document operations but we can't guarantee this for transactions. This could maybe change in the future but that is not guaranteed.
As soon as ArangoDB provides traditional transaction (with begin, commit, rollback) the Java driver and Spring data will support that too. For now I could only implement the transaction()
method from the driver in Spring datas ArangoTemplate
if this would help you. But this would only call the driver method with additional exception translation from the driver exception to a Spring exception.
