šŸ‘‹ Ā  Hi there, I'm Alonso

šŸ‘ØšŸ»ā€šŸ’» Ā  About Me

  • šŸ  Ā  I was born in Badajoz, Extremadura, Spain, Earth, Solar System, Milky Way, Local Group, Virgo super cluster, local super clusters, Laniakea. I currently live there. šŸ„˜

  • šŸ’¼ Ā  I would like to work in a product company, fully remote, from home. My dream is to work at CERN, ESA, NASA. Space engineer.

  • šŸ”Ø Ā  My set of technical tools vary from using Java, Scala, python, bash, Spring framework, Apache Spark, Apache Flink, Apache Kafka/Confluent platform, Microservices, Docker/Containers, K8s, ethical hacking, lately Langchain but above all the scientific analysis based on verifiable evidence by third parties.

  • šŸ”Ø Ā  I am learning and practising with Python 3.x doing a lot of courses with Santiago Hernandez. From Python to cybersecurity, offensive and defensive. The idea is to understand the security problems at the TCP/IP layers, not just at the application layer.

  • šŸŒ Ā  I like a lot to mentor and help my younger colleagues, either by giving advice or doing pair programming with them, i am also curious about mob programming.

  • šŸ“± Ā  I prefer to do pair/mob programming instead of pull requests to increase the feeling of ownership of the code. I like the idea of Trunk based development. Iā€™m currently a great fan of TDD, DDD and clean architectures.

  • šŸŒ± Ā  I have learned and added skills to work as DevSecOps, updated knowledge to understand better and use Kafka's Confluent platform, as well as the current version of Spark 3.x. I am always interested in security, so I am learning about ethical hacking techniques to put them into DevOps pipelines and create a culture of making software as secure as possible. Lately, I have started to give a lot to Langchain to try to take advantage of LLM.

  • šŸ”Ø Ā  I like to work, not in this order, the backend, distributed systems, event-oriented systems, big data, data engineering, data scientist, DevSecOps, good practices in software construction, Clean Code, SOLID/DRY/KISS principles, TDD methodology and ethical hacking, cybersecurity in all the layers of TCP/IP, container technology, open source LLMs along with Langchain, in short, I love to learn. I don't like working with the web or JavaScript, whether on the client or the server. What's more, I would prohibit working with JavaScript that interacts with application servers. Too many security problems.

  • šŸ¤” Ā  I have a gist profile too, sometimes I don't have time to create a repo. https://gist.github.com/alonsoir

  • {ā–ø} Follower of Udemy.

  • šŸš² Ā  My hobbies are reading about science and arts, sci-fi novels, manga, European comics, going to Museums, beers and tapas with family and friends, and playing from time to time with PS5 and Switch. Lately, I've been fond of taking courses on Udemy. This year I have finished 13 of them, and counting.

šŸ›  Ā  Tech Stack

šŸ“š Ā  I'd like to Learn

  • šŸŒ± Ā  More about Cloud Architecture, Software Patterns, Event Sourcing, Apache Spark, Apache Kafka, Apache Druid.
  • šŸ”§ Ā  Astrophysics.
  • šŸ“ Ā  More about DevOps culture, adding more steps to the pipeline like security concepts.
  • šŸ§° Ā  More about Machine learning, Deep learning, Natural language processing, photo recognition image.
  • šŸŒ Ā  More about Test Driven Design and Domain Driven Design.
  • šŸ“± Ā  Cloud security. Ethical hacking.
  • šŸ––šŸ»šŸ‘ØšŸ»ā€šŸŽ“ Ā  llm ai large language models. How to train them with my content.
